Buying a used car? Here are some things you should consider when looking for a car.Obviously you want to test drive any car you are considering buying. When you are out on your test drive test the brakes. You want to get a feel for them to see if they are going bad. Check to see if any check engine or maintenance lights are on. Check your turn signals, brake lights, head lights, high beams and all electrical options. Also check the heating and air conditioning. You want to make sure your not buying someone else's problems.
You should always check the tires to see how soon your going to need new ones. Look under the car and see if there is anything leaking. Look under the hood to see if everything sounds good when running.
And finally, always talk to the previous owner, ask about the maintenance history of the car. Hopefully he/sheBuy tells you the truth.
