Over the weekend we got slammed with snow where I live. I woke up early in the morning to shovel the snow out of my driveway. My entire driveway is sloped and is about 150 feet long. To make the matter worse, my driveway is between my house and my neighbors house. When you drive up or down my driveway you have about 2 inches on each side of the car before your hitting houses.
Anyway, after I shoveled the driveway I went inside for like an hour. When I went to leave the driveway was covered again! I didn't have time to shovel it again so I just drove over the snow real slow hoping not to hit a house. I have a 2002 Mercury Cougar that isn't really made for the snow. Also, I don't have snow tires. Getting down the driveway went well. What happened when I can home would test my little car.
When I came back home the tire tracks where iced over. When I attempted to go up the driveway the car slid into the side of the house. Not enough to damage it but I had to back up and try again. This time I went a little faster and got up the drivay enough to pass the houses. Then I got stuck. When I put the car in park it slide on the ice and almost went over the hill! After an hour and a bag of salt I finally got my car up the driveway and in to my parking spot! I can't wait for Spring!
