For the buyers of dealer-owned used cars, should the Harmonized Sales Tax really be considered as a way to lower the prices of such vehicles?

It seem as though the answer to that question may be yes, and this would be according to some auto industry experts.

For the very first time, in all of Ontario, there will be private car sales that will all be subject to a federal tax, and this would be the eight per cent provincial sales tax, as well as the five per cent federal GST.
